This document refers to the protection of natural persons regarding the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data and is fully governed by Portuguese law.
Ageign Autism commits to the permanent protection of the privacy of personal data provided by its clients in the scope of the services it offers.
This document aims to provide users with the necessary information regarding Ageign Autism’s privacy policy so they can give their express, free, and informed consent to the processing of their personal data when requested during the subscription process of the services.
The client acknowledges and accepts the rules of the privacy policy available on Ageign Autism’s website, consenting to the publication/disclosure of their personal data.
The personal data provided by users during the subscription process of Ageign Autism’s services will be processed in a lawful and regular manner.
Processing of personal data means any operation or set of operations performed, with or without the aid of electronic or automated means, including collection, recording, organization, storage, consultation, elaboration, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, dissemination, deletion, and destruction of data, whether contained in a database or not.
The processing of personal data may involve — partly depending on how the client chooses to use the Services — text files, photographic or video images, audio tracks, telephone lines, and any other information that may be used to identify the individual concerned, according to the type of services requested.
Such processing will adhere to the principles of lawfulness, good faith, and transparency, guaranteeing respect for users’ rights, particularly their right to privacy.
Processing Purposes
The purpose of this processing is to enable the provision of services by Ageign Autism as requested by the client, as well as the independent management of the service by the client. For this purpose, the client must register as a user and create a profile when subscribing to services provided by Ageign Autism.
It includes the collection, storage, and processing of data for subsequent operations, technical and administrative management of services, and the exchange of electronic communications.
Data processing by Ageign Autism will comply with all applicable legal standards, particularly concerning tax and accounting obligations.
Users’ personal data will also be processed to enable web browsing.
Additionally, data collection, storage, and organization aim to perform anonymous statistical analyses. These analyses will not allow the client’s identification and will only serve to verify the quality of services provided by Ageign Autism.
Processing Methods
Clients’ personal data will be processed electronically and automatically.
Communication and Disclosure of Common Personal Data
Non-sensitive personal data may be communicated by Ageign Autism to:
-
- Individuals and companies providing legal, tax, financial, and accounting consultancy services to Ageign Autism;
-
- Institutions, entities, and/or authorities to whom the data must be transmitted under statutory and/or legal provisions;
-
- Entities connected to the commercial activity pursued by Ageign Autism and strictly related to the provision of its services (e.g., national domain registration authorities, Whois database managers, and entities to whom Ageign Autism delegates technical maintenance of the services, including network devices and electronic communication networks);
-
- Ageign Autism’s commercial partners, but only if the client provides express consent.
Optional or Mandatory Consent
If the client does not provide their personal data, the subscribed services may not be activated, at Ageign Autism’s discretion.
Client consent is optional regarding the processing of data for market research, surveys, and statistical analysis; the sending of advertising and informational material through telephone service providers, automated messaging without human intervention, or fax.
Consent is also optional for receiving unsolicited commercial communications. Such messages must be immediately and clearly identified as such and must offer the client the option to refuse further messages.
If the client chooses not to consent to their personal data being used for commercial purposes, it will have no effect on the provision of Ageign Autism’s services.
If the client does provide consent, they may also be admitted to participate in promotional contests organized by Ageign Autism.
Processing of Sensitive Data
When using Ageign Autism services, sensitive data may be processed, especially information revealing racial or ethnic origin, religious, philosophical or other beliefs, political opinions, party membership, health status, or sexual orientation.
Ageign Autism advises clients not to publish sensitive personal data unless strictly necessary, or to choose services that do not require such disclosure.
Sensitive data will only be published with the client’s explicit and specific consent, given in writing or by an equivalent method.
If clients intend to use services involving sensitive personal data processing, they must first update their registration and grant the necessary consent.
If a client does not provide express consent and still subscribes to services that require the processing of sensitive data, Ageign Autism cannot be held responsible, as the publication of sensitive data on the web will be under the client’s exclusive responsibility, even if Ageign Autism provides the web hosting service.
Nonetheless, Ageign Autism stresses the importance of the client updating their registration if they wish to use services that involve the processing of sensitive data.
Sensitive data, especially regarding sexual orientation, will not be communicated (except when required by law) or disclosed by Ageign Autism.
If the client voluntarily uses Ageign Autism’s services to disclose sensitive personal data online, such conduct is the client’s sole responsibility and does not represent an accepted practice by Ageign Autism.
Processing Third Party Personal Data
When using certain services (e.g., promotional activities by Ageign Autism) that allow the client to request domain name registration on behalf of third parties, third-party personal data provided by the client may be processed. In such cases, the client assumes the role of independent data controller and related legal obligations, including liability for any damage caused to third parties by breaching data protection laws.
In any case, if the client processes third-party personal data while using Ageign Autism services, they must guarantee that the third party has previously authorized the data processing.

In any case, data will be kept strictly for the time necessary to achieve the purposes outlined above, corresponding to the duration of the contractual relationship between Ageign Autism and the client.
If the client cancels their account or stops using the services, their data will be deleted unless retention is necessary to comply with legal, financial, tax, and accounting obligations. Once these obligations have been fulfilled, the data will be deleted.
All data collection, processing, and retention will be conducted in full compliance with legal provisions.
